A good image processing system should have these basic capabilities: classification, clustering, output product generation, Fourier transformation and filtering, geometric correction and registration, image repair, radiometric correction, and statistical manipulation. The following flow diagrams show the LAS modules required to carry out each of these procedures. They start with the input image and take the user through the step-by-step path needed to accomplish each procedure. These do not represent all of the LAS modules available but only the LAS modules needed to accomplish each scenario.
