Create stop files for the AVHRRSTACK batch function
Create stop files for the AVHRRSTACK function. Create a stop file in the ADAPSTABLES directory which signals AVHRRSTACK to stop stacking images to tape. Only the AVHRRSTACK that has DRIVE allocated will be stopped. When the stop file(s) exists AVHRRSTACK will stop at the next convenient time (see User Notes).
- DRIVE(--)
- Tape drive. The tape drive that AVHRRSTACK is currently using. Only the AVHRRSTACK that has DRIVE allocated will be stopped when more than one version of AVHRRSTACK is running. The default will create a stop file for all drives that AVHRRSTACK has allocated. This is determined by looking for the AVHRRSTACK lock files in ADAPSTABLES.
A stop file for the AVHRRSTACK function will be created in the ADAPSTABLES directory. It will signal the AVHRRSTACK function using the remote drive sg2@2 to stop processing at the next convenient time.
A stop file will be created in the ADAPSTABLES directory for each AVHRRSTACK function that has a lock file. These stop files will signal each of the AVHRRSTACK functions running to stop processing at the next convenient time.
Create a stop file in the ADAPSTABLES directory for the specified DRIVE(s). When the stop file "avhrrstack_DRIVE;stop" exists, only the AVHRRSTACK function that has the specified DRIVE locked will stop at the next convenient time. When AVHRRSTACK is running, it creates a lock file in ADAPSTABLES for the drive it is using. If the lock file doesn't exist for the specified DRIVE, AVHRRSTACK is not using that drive and no stop file is created. By default, a stop file will be created in ADAPSTABLES for each lock file found in ADAPSTABLES.
A nonfatal error was encountered during processing. The message that is displayed immediately preceding this error message is the specific error that was encountered.
