Edit the table of standing orders.
Edits the table of standing orders for AVHRR data. A standing order may be placed for a customer that is ordering data for a specified period of time that meets a set of criteria. All AVHRR data matching these criteria will have a product automatically produced as it is processed through the AVHRR Data Acquisition and Processing System (ADAPS).
- ACCOUNT
- Account number. Account number assigned to the customer.
- SDATE
- Start date. The first acquisition date for which the customer would like to receive data. See User Note 1.
- EDATE
- Ending date. The last acquisition date for which the customer would like to receive data. See User Note 1.
- AGE
- Data age. A product should be produced if an image is processed within AGE days of its acquisition date and meets all of the other requirements. Zero indicates that the image must be processed on the day of acquisition. 9999 indicates that any "age" data will be processed. This is included because data may be aquired and then processed 2-3 months later.

A standing order is entered in the table for account 13796. The standing order covers all daytime LAC and HRPT data that was acquired by NOAA-11 from August 1, 1992 through August 31, 1992. A product will be automatically generated if the data is processed through the ADAPS system within 14 days of its acquisition. These images must partially cover the area of interest that extends from North 50 degrees, 0 minutes, 0 seconds to North 33 degrees, 33 minutes, 0 seconds and from West 130 degrees, 0 minutes, 0 seconds to West 60 degrees, 0 minutes, 0 seconds. A product will not be generated unless the image contains at least 250 lines in the area of interest. The requested product is a Level 1b formatted image on a 4mm tape. By default, all five bands are included. Data from all the stations will be accepted, with the exception of the stitched orbit data. It has a "station id" of KM* (KM1, KME, etc.) and is not covered by ***. For stitched orbit data to be processed, a new order must be entered with KM* as a station ID (KM1 for example). The WINDOW option has not been implemented yet. The output directory is set to a flag that says it is not needed for this product.
A standing order is entered in the table for account 14800. The standing order covers all daytime LAC and HRPT data that was acquired by NOAA-12 from October 1, 1992 through April 30, 1993. A product will be automatically generated if the data is processed through the ADAPS system on the day of acquisition. These images must lie partially within the area of interest that extends from South 60 degrees, 0 minutes, 0 seconds to South 90 degrees. A product will not be generated unless the image contains at least 500 lines in the area of interest and is data from the University of Tokyo (station id = TK2). The requested product is a Level 1b formatted image on a 3480 cartridge tape. Only bands one and two will be included. The output will be put in the directory /sg2/temp.
The user has specified that the second standing order for account 22180 be deleted from the standing order table.
The standing order table is sent to the printer specified by the LAS global variable $PRINTER.
PRODEDIT is used to update the standing order table for AVHRR data. The file "PRODGEN.TABLE" in ADAPSTABLES is first locked, the specified standing order is added or deleted, and the table is unlocked, allowing other applications to access the table.
The specified standing order was not found in the table. This order could not be deleted.
The standing order table was not unlocked properly. All functions will be unable to access the table until the file is unlocked. Run LOCKFIL-UNLOCK on "PRODGEN.TABLE" in ADAPSTABLES.
The starting or ending date was entered improperly. See User Note 1 for the required format. Correct any mistakes in SDATE or EDATE.
The starting date is after the ending date. Respecify SDATE and EDATE.
Parameter <xxxxx> was entered improperly. See User Note 2 for the correct format.
PRODEDIT was unable to retrieve the value of the environment variable <xxxxx>. Ensure the variable is set to the correct value.
A fatal error was encountered. The error message displayed prior to this one is the specific error encountered.
PRODEDIT was unable to lock the standing order table, indicating it is already in use. Rerun PRODEDIT.
