Generates a labeled table of control points from an IBIS tabular file.
Generates a labeled table (LT) file of control points from an image based information system (IBIS) tabular file. Each of the rows of the tabular file is read and written out to one record of the labeled table.
- INFILE
- Input file. Input IBIS tabular file.
- OUTLT
- Output labeled table file. This labeled table file will contain the points from INFILE.
The LT will consist of two files. The first record of the master LT file contains the name of subfile that are associated with it. The subfile name is generated by appending an ascending numeric value to the master LT file name.
- INCOL(3,5,6)
- Input columns. The columns of the input tabular file that are used as the point number, line(y) location, and sample(x) location of the points that are contained in the output labeled table file. The values specified for INCOL must be in order listed below.
INCOL(1) = point number INCOL(2) = line(y) location INCOL(3) = sample(x) locationIf INCOL(1) is set to 0, the point numbers of the points will be assigned sequentially as the points are read from the input file.
The values in columns 1 ,4 and 5 of IN.DAT are written to OUT.DAT as the point numbers, line(y) locations, and sample(x) locations. One control point record in OUT.DAT is created for each row in IN.DAT. When all the control points have been written to the OUT.DAT, both the files are closed and the completion message is displayed.
The program begins with the standard initialization and retrieval of user-specified parameters. Row by row, the input values of the columns specified are written as point numbers, line(y) locations, and sample(x) locations of points in the output file. When all the rows have been written to the output file, both the files are closed and the completion message is displayed.
A fatal error was encountered during processing. The output IBIS tabular file may or may not be deleted. The message that is displayed immediately preceding this message is the specific error that was encountered.
An error was encountered while trying to open the specified file. Verify that the file exists.
An error was encountered while trying to read from the IBIS graphics file. Check the format of the file.
