File descriptor for the opened acquisition image.
Host file name of the acquisition image.
The requested type of access for the image.
= IREAD (0): Read access = IWRITE (1): Write access = IUPDATE (2): Read/write access
Three character CEOS ID for the receiving station that acquired the image. For a list of valid CEOS IDs see ceos;ids in ADAPSTABLES.
Data type of the image.
= LAC (1): Local Area Coverage data = GAC (2): Global Area Coverage data = HRPT (3): High Resolution Picture Transmission data
Flag indicating whether the TIP data will be saved in an associated file.
= TRUE (1): TIP data will be saved = FALSE (0): TIP data will not be saved
c_acqopen() calls the function c_acqinfo() to retrieve the format of the acquisition image for the specified station. The image is then opened for the specified access, the information contained in the header records is extracted, and the file pointer is set to the beginning of the first line in the image.
c_acqopen() returns
E_SUCC (0) --> Successful completion. E_FAIL (-1) --> Operation failed.
